Question 1: Where has been your favourite place to make your redemptions?
Yasmin, near the top of the list at number 3 – @yasmin.meimand – loves the hotel offers: I honestly think any redemption with hotels is the most amazing gift you can offer your wallet. You only pay for one night and have another extra day to enjoy. Where do we recommend? We’re a little bit in love with Sofitel the Palm – and with 2 nights to spend strolling along the private beach away from the hustle and bustle of Dubai for the price of 1, it’s even better.
Coming in at number 5, Sarah from @whatnossyate shares: Phobia Escape Games because my friends and I visit quite often. Who else wouldn’t want to get locked in a room and solve clues to be able to escape?! There’s some cool options under the Attractions & Leisure on the Dubai App.
Question 2: If you could take any of your visitors to one of our merchants, where would it be and why?
Number 6 on our top redeemer chart is Aneesha, who is behind the blog @omnomirvana: Definitely the Heavenly Spa at the Westin in Al Habtoor City. The therapists are extremely knowledgeable and the facilities are top-notch and absolutely beautiful. The view from the couple’s massage room beckons on to the gorgeous Dubai Water Canal. Now that’s a memory they will never forget!
Number 10, Debbie from @geordiearmani makes sure that her visitors are always taken to Dhow and Anchor, or D&A as it is now. If you’re craving a huge plate of fish and chips, or a hearty full English breakfast, this is the perfect place to indulge in some tasty British classics.
Michaela of @lather_rinse_repeat, our number 7, shares: I like to take visitors to brunch, seeing that no-one does it better than Dubai. I took my parents to La Parrilla at Jumeirah Beach Hotel when they visited earlier this year for Friday brunch and they were blown away by the quality of the Argentinian dishes – especially the seafood and steak – great service and the fun atmosphere.
Question 3: What merchant holds the award for the most Instagram-able location?
Just short of the number 1 spot, Sara from @itsyoursay is a big fan of a special pretty merchant: HANDS DOWN, Parlour Boutique at the Dubai World Trade Centre. It is every girls pink dream come true – a Parisian Chic café, I spent most my Friday afternoons working there.
Our fabulous number 3, Mark from @markmyworldblog found this one difficult: This one is a tough one because there are a lot of highly Instagram-able locations in Dubai now, but I have to say Wise Kwai. It’s literally a hidden gem in Dusit D2 Hotel in Barsha, and not a lot of people know about it. The Thai food is great, the restaurant looks really nice, and it deserves more attention!
Coming in at number 9 is Sana from @sanaonfood, who loves her Green Planet offer: It has to be Green Planet, it’s so beautiful and every corner is so picturesque that you feel like taking as many pictures as you can. (It also boasts the largest man-made tree in the world, FYI).
Our number 1 champion Jasmine – @peartreediaries, however, tells us that’s it’s simply impossible to pick just one!
