Join the 30×30 fitness bandwagon

30x30 fitness

This year we have seen the world’s population compete for the least amount of steps taken and the most amount of naps accumulated while being confined to our houses and largely still are. So when the 300×30 fitness challenge was announced we were raring to get involved. It’s time we stopped being couch potatoes and started to drop those quarantine kilos (so we can put them all back on at Christmas, naturally).

The beauty of the 30×30 is you can choose what you do, when you do it and how to fit it into your lifestyle. We’ve chosen 5 of our favourite places to get a sweat on and save money at the same time to help you complete your 30×30 –

Zen Yoga

Zen Yoga is Dubai’s original yoga & Pilates studio. All of their instructors are certified and highly trained, ensuring you have an authentic yoga or Pilates experience with no injuries and reap all the benefits.

Yoga House

Yoga House is for people from all walks of life – the advanced and the beginners, the young and the old. That’s what makes it a perfect spot to help you with your 20×30 fitness challenge. It is a “breathing community” where one can practice, connect and most importantly, be themselves. The studio offers Yoga, Pilates and Meditation sessions along with high-intensity classes such as Barre, Power Pilates and other fusions.

Aquaspin at Fairmont the Palm

Aquaspin™ is a revolutionary aqua exercise that’s kind to the joints, yet burns a huge amount of calories. The 45-minute class involves cycling on state-of-the-art spin bikes submerged inside the water which is different and fun. It provides fantastic resistance for muscle tone and cardiovascular training too!

The Burj Club

Choose from a serene indoor lap pool or enjoy the blue skies at the rooftop pool as you sun yourself into a stress-free state. Enjoy majestic views of The Dubai Fountain and Burj Khalifa, while you lounge at The Burj Club. It’s the perfect weekend escape.

Bodylines at Media Rotana

Designed with the frequent traveller in mind, Bodylines Fitness & Wellness Club is the destination for the health-conscious and has facilities for both male and female guests. Keep fit and relax while using the state-of-the-art facilities including the gym, swimming pool and modern changing facilities.

Abu Dhabi

The Room

THE ROOM Abu Dhabi is a fitness and lifestyle club for every taste! With group classes such as Spinning®, Zumba, Pilates, yoga, dance, core training and circuit; it’s an all-round place to get fit and step up your fitness for 30×30!

Dhabi Health Club

Located at Al Ain Palace Hotel, Dhabi Health Club is perfect to keep your fitness up during the 30×30 challenge and beyond. Workout in the gym or take a swim in the awesome swimming pool. If that isn’t your thing then you can play squash or just chill out in the plunge pool or jacuzzi!

We’ve all been told that you can’t target weight loss but with TechnoShape, you can! The fat burn will concentrate on the stomach and midriff area while you do low cardio for 40minutes. Simple as that. The combination of both exercise and cardio will give you targeted fat burn from the stomach.

Sea Hawk Water Sports and Adventures

Sea Hawk Water Sports & Adventures operates daily eco-tours in the Eastern Mangroves. It is a gateway to the diverse flora and fauna of Abu Dhabi. Whether you’re looking for recreational kayaking, stand up paddleboarding or even Emirati traditional rowing boats, there is something for everyone to get your heart rate up during your 30×30 challenge.

Captain Tony’s

Captain Tony’s is one of Abu Dhabi’s favourite marine tours & water-sports companies. Operating from Yas Marina, Eastern Mangroves Marina & Souk Qaryat Al Beri Marina, they offer a range of boat tours to explore the capital’s inshore coastline, SUP & kayaking.
