It’s Emirati Women’s Day & this is how to celebrate it!

On the 28th August 2019, the UAE celebrates the 5th Emirati Women’s Day. Since its conception it has unabashedly united ladies and rejoiced in everything that makes the beautiful women of the UAE different, yet endearingly similar.

With a focus on tolerance this year, women from all walks of life are celebrated for their remarkable minds and actions. It’s a fabulous step towards recognising women in all their splendour and the UAE does a wonderful job in being at the forefront of women’s rights; setting an example that the world may follow.

We wanted to join in on the fun and spread the love by suggesting a few places for you to take your ‘Emirati Woman of the Year’ and shower her with the treats she deserves –

Roux: Main Course

Estimated Savings: AED80
Location: City Walk
Our Opinion: Roux is our favourite one-stop-shop for anything related to food and chilled vibes. You can come any time of day and grab a bite to eat, pull up a chair and linger awhile or even bring a date. It’s great for working lunches, business meetings, catch-ups with friends and of course mouth-watering food and must-try drinks. Roux is top of our list for taking that special lady (or maybe you just want to treat yourself) on Emirati Women’s Day.

Siraj is a slick addition to the city’s vibrant culinary scene. The elegant ambience combines an interesting mix of traditional and contemporary Arabic-inspired décor.
