Where To Get Your Caffeine Fix For International Coffee Day

Like we needed any more of a reason to be able to drink coffee… Hurrah for International Coffee Day! Where do you normally head to, to get your much-loved caffeine fix? For those of you looking to break away from your everyday favourite location, why not take some inspiration from some of our lovely blogger friends and head to a new haunt to celebrate?

Our lovely blogger friends give us the down low for International Coffee Day…

Let’s start with the lovely Tjaša, from @tjasa

Where is your favourite place for coffee on the ENTERTAINER?

Oh, there is so many, but I really love Bertin Bistro & Restaurant.

Why is it your favourite?

I really love the ambiance, and their macaroons are some of my faves as well. Also, they have marble tables for that perfect flat lay shot.

Coffee to go, or stay at the place?

I love staying at the place, as coffee never tastes the same in a paper cup.

How do you feel if you want a cup of coffee, but can’t have one?

As much as I love coffee, I’m not dependent on it. It’s like my special treat on the weekends. Coffee + croissant + newspaper = happy weekend.

Are there any other food or drinks you like that are coffee flavoured?

If I am 100% honest, I have never tried anything else coffee flavoured, but I could totally have a cappuccino ice cream!

Tjasha also shared some great tips on how to take the perfect picture of your coffee!

Where is your favourite place for coffee on the ENTERTAINER?

My favorite place for coffee (and actually a little breakfast too) would have to be Bistro Des Arts.

Why is it your favourite?

This place not only has good coffee, but real good food to go with it too. The interiors are gorgeous, the location is spot on and the service is wonderful. Plus, everything is so ‘Instagramable’ – if that is a word, right down to the table settings. What more can a food photographer/blogger ask for?!

Coffee to go, or stay at the place?

I rarely ever get my coffee to go, unless I am in a tearing hurry. I love to sit in a café and sip on my cuppa. I find it very cathartic actually. It can be for fifteen minutes, or for two hours.

How do you feel if you want a cup of coffee, but can’t have one?

Let’s just say, productivity happens only after a cup of coffee!

Are there any other food or drinks you like that are coffee flavoured?

I guess it would depend what it is. Ice-cream, for sure! Cake, yes! Actually I recently had a delicious cappuccino flavored milk cake at this café in Sharjah, Arzu. It was divine!

(Side note: You can also watch a video of the amazing chef preparing divine dishes at Bistro des Arts right here).

And how about you, Sarah? (From blog @chiclibellule)

Where is your favorite place for coffee on the ENTERTAINER?

Fournil de Pierre.

Why is it your favourite?

This is a great place to enjoy a real ”French” breakfast: croissants, petits pains au chocolat, baguettes and nice coffee!

Coffee to go, or stay at the place?

I like to stay at the place, I love the one at The Beach JBR, as the terrace is lovely. It’s such a peaceful location in winter.

How do you feel if you want a cup of coffee, but can’t have one?

I make sure it never happens! But if it ever did, I would probably feel like I was having a really bad day!

Are there any other food or drinks you like that are coffee flavoured?

I love coffee cake & ice cream, I get them from Magnolia Bakery. Yummy!

A few more spots to check out this International Coffee Day. Wherever you decide to head to, we hope you have a brew-tiful day!
