Abu Dhabi in November: What’s hot this month?!

In need of some ideas for what to do in Abu Dhabi in November? Trying not to freak out about the fact that a new decade is fast approaching? It’s OK, we gotcha! Check out some sweet deals to be found in your app this month and thank us later…

Tiger Cookies: Ten Mini Kinder Pancakes

Estimated Savings: AED30
Location: Baniyas East
Our Opinion: What’s not to love about this?! Anything described as ‘mini’ is always a winner with us; it’s just more fun to eat that way, right? Then, they go and top these adorable mini delights with all kinds of sweet and delicious things that make our waistline scream ‘please, go to the gym!’. It’s a sugar fiend’s idea of heaven and we are fully on board with it.
Top Tip:
Use your ENTERTAINER offer and get 2 lots of pancakes…that way you can eat one straight away while it’s still warm and gooey and save the other lot for later. We’re smart like that.

Flooka: Wednesday Buffet

Estimated Savings: AED160
Location: Eastern Mangroves Promenade
Our Opinion: We have to say, we experienced the best Mediterranean seafood at Flooka but the fun part is, it’s all been topped with a Lebanese twist.  We’re also big fans of an immersive experience and at Flooka, you can choose from an array of fish from the ice display and have it cooked in the clay oven, charcoal-grilled or deep-fried.
Top Tip:
It’s a seafood lovers’ dream so if you’re after beachy vibes, fresh seafood and great views then this is the place for you.

Waves Bar: Draught Hops, Bottle of Hops or Glass of House Grape

Estimated Savings: AED44, AED38 or AED49
Location: Novotel Abu Dhabi Al Bustan
Our Opinion: Nestled just next to the pool area with sweeping views over Abu Dhabi, Waves is the perfect spot to reward yourself after swimming some laps or in our case just to catch some rays and have a few liquid treats.  Wind down and relax on a lounger and let the sweet bar staff spoil you with a host of finely handcrafted cocktails as you gaze over the Abu Dhabi skyline.
Top Tip:
Sunglasses, a hat and your best group of friends. That’s all you’ll need at Waves. Oh, and your wallet!

Louvre Abu Dhabi: General Admission

Estimated Savings: AED63
Location: Saadiyat Island
Our Opinion: Designed by Jean Nouvel, Louvre Abu Dhabi is inspired by traditional Islamic architecture and its monumental dome creates a rain of light effect. The museum celebrates the universal creativity of mankind and invites audiences to see humanity in a new light. Its growing collection is unparalleled in the region and includes prehistoric tools, artefacts, religious texts, iconic paintings and contemporary artworks. The permanent collection is supplemented by rotating loans from 13 French partner institutions, regional and international museums.
Top Tip: The best time visit is early morning or late afternoon. The way the light shines through the roof during these times is just mesmerising.

Poke & Co: Main Menu Item or Breakfast Menu Item

Estimated Savings: AED60 or AE360
Location: Ground Level, Al Aryam Tower, Al Zahiyah
Our Opinion: PokΓ© places are popping up everywhere now but we have taken a shine to PokΓ© & Co because of their unique little twists to traditional pokΓ© bowls. They took the classic Hawaiian speciality pokΓ© and added alternatives to raw fish, including chicken, cooked salmon, cooked shrimp and tofu. You can also build-your-own bowl which allows some pretty funky combinations if you’re into that sort of thing…
Top Tip:
The truffle ponzu sauce gets a massive thumbs up from us lot (yes we’re fancy, no we’re not sorry)!
