Our Iftar At Safina, Saadiyat Beach Club

When Ramadan comes around each year, we get so excited about all of the wonderful venues that invite us to come and sample their gorgeous Iftar menus – and Safina, of course, was no exception! Located within Saadiyat Beach Club, the breathtaking restaurant boasts views of the pristine waters of the Arabian Gulf (I mean, could you ask for a better setting?)  Joined by some of our favourite blogger friends, it was almost impossible to tear ourselves away from the watching the sun set behind the infinity pool (see the image below, and you’ll know what we mean), but we also knew we had a delicious array of Mediterranean-inspired delicacies waiting for us inside!

Guest Experience Manager of the Saadiyat Beach Club, Azza, was the perfect host, and couldn’t have made our experience any better (so thank you again!) Having the ability to welcome bloggers from all different backgrounds and cultures was amazing – and gave us even more of a reason to talk all evening!

After sampling the sensational starters – which all had a strong emphasis on dates and nuts – we got stuck into the main courses, which featured the tastiest fresh fish. There was a huge corner for desserts alone (which made us fall in love with Safina even more), so we didn’t hold back when it came to the beautiful little cakes, and traditional date pudding.

Finishing off the evening with a group shot boomerang, we wanted to share with you just how much fun we had – and hope that you too will go and experience it for yourselves!

Not only is Saadiyat Beach Club the most picture-perfect setting for Iftar, but it is also the only natural beach in Abu Dhabi, and is a wonderful choice of location for sundowners.
